The Basement Bar, as per its moniker, is located in our basement; the location of the household’s kitchen, laundry and housekeeper’s rooms in the late 1700s.
The Basement Bar offers chilled pints of Peroni, Meantime Ale, wines, craft beers and ciders, plus softs and juice for the little ones. With festoon lighting for after the sun goes down and dog-friendly too; the Basement Bar allows you to enjoy a drink in the heart of south east London’s biggest open space. It is a laid back spot for drinking in the views when the sun shines and, with its own unique atmosphere and a sense of the mysterious, perfect for hunkering down at dusk.
Plus, in case all that drinking has whetted your appetite, the Basement Bar is often complimented by the presence of some of SE London’s best-loved food trucks.
