Becky is a qualified reflexologist and began her training with the Bayly School in 2010. She is a member of both the British Reflexology Association and the Association of Reflexologists.
After becoming a mum, Becky decided to leave her career as a primary school teacher behind and train as a reflexologist, something that she had always been passionate about since first having a treatment in her late teens. She initially turned to reflexology to assist with sinus problems she was experiencing and after a few months of treatments these had cleared up altogether. She also had treatments throughout all three of her pregnancies and to assist with
post-natal depression following birth.
Becky feels incredibly passionately about the power of complementary medicine to assist with healing the body and the link between mind, body and spirit. Every client presents a unique story and a new pair of feet to explore and she feels honoured to be able to be a part of their journey, whether it be assisting with a particular condition, for example, migraines, or for general wellbeing, which is of course just as important in modern life.
Becky continued her professional development and has obtained specialisms in:
- Conception and Maternity Reflexology (including fertility & pregnancy)
- Advanced Maternity Reflexology
- Hot Stone Reflexology
- Mindful Reflexology (for stress, anxiety & depression)
- Aroma-Reflex
- Functional Reflex Therapy (for children & adults with autism and additional needs).
In 2017 Becky was invited to be a board member of the British Reflexology Association, a role which involves organising lecture days for fellow reflexologists. This way she keeps up-to-date with all of the latest research and happenings.
If you have any questions at all about reflexology, please do get in touch with Becky – she is always happy to hear from you and will get back to you as soon as she can.
