Cognitive Analytic Therapy: CAT in the Park
10 November @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 10:00am on Saturday, happening 2 times
Cognitive Analytic Therapy [CAT] is an evidence-based psychological therapy used in leading NHS teaching hospitals, consultations and challenging complexity in personal life.
You are invited to attend a community building introduction to CAT via two half-day workshops.
This workshop grew out of experiencing CAT’s unique approach beyond its application as a talking therapy for individual psychological treatment. In the two workshops, you are invited to make use of collaborative exploration of dialogue around examples of relational challenges, learn to use visual mapping and develop self-understanding with others in a down to earth, stimulating and easy going approach.
These two Saturday morning workshops are designed to introduce attenders to a range of relational psychological skills through experiential learning and participation. It will appeal to everyone who is interested in a supportive community to experience relational thinking and work beyond labels or stigma of mental illness.
No experience of CAT or therapy is required. The workshops are free on reservation (a £10 donation to cover the cost of the free workshop welcome).
