Welcome to PECKISH 🤤

With two weeks to go until the big kick off, we're very excited to announce our food trader lineup for this summer.

There'll be some familiar faces as your favourites return, plus some incredible new vendors to try out - all on a rotating roster, because variety is the spice of life.

We've got @route66streetfood with their packed Californian burritos 🌯

@sarrasinlondon with delicious sweet and savoury crepes 🥞

Our very own @themansionbarcafe serving up their incredible new burger menu 🍔

@harlem2manila and their mouth-watering BBQ and bao combo ♨️

@urban_yak's punchy Nepali-Tibetan rice boxes and noodles 🍛

AND

@thefryingsquad1 with their legendary traditional British fish and chips 🍟

So, that's dinner sorted every Thursday throughout summer then... and you don't have to pay a penny to get in!

Keep your eyes peeled as we'll be announcing the specific traders each week ahead of Peckish.

We'll also be announcing our live music and DJ dates very soon too, so plenty to look forward to! 📻

Just a glimpse at some of the 60 small brands taking part over this weekend at The Mansion for @saladdaysmarketlondon with @livpurvis - we’re so excited to browse them all!

Salad Days focuses on sustainable, pre loved and vintage fashion, but a wide range of other products will be available too, including jewellery, art, ceramics, vintage homeware and much more!

Best of all the market is free to all! Just download a ticket from the Salad Days website. There you can also find a giant list of all the small brands that’ll be making this market extra special!

There will also be street food traders as well as our very own @themansionbarcafe serving up brunch on Saturday, roasts on Sunday and some much needed refreshing drinks across the weekend!

This April...

We are excited to announce local heroes @saladdaysmarketlondon and @livpurvis to the Mansion for a weekend celebrating brilliant indie businesses.

Across Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th, their debut market will feature a curated edit of amazing brands, showcasing vintage fashion and handmade homeware. With 30 brands trading each day, there's something perfect for anyone and everyone.

We are looking for a creative Social Media and Marketing Officer with an interest in culture and events to join our ambitious team. Working across our sites at @copelandparkse and @beckenhamplace, you will help to deliver the social media and marketing strategy, lead on the management of our social media channels and look for creative ways to engage our audiences.

Playing an integral role in South London's thriving cultural scene, you'll also support the promotion of our events at Copeland Gallery, the Bussey Building, Copeland Park’s in-house bar @copelandsocial and @peckhamfestival a free annual arts and culture festival, sponsored by Copeland Park.

This year, we have been honoured to connect with inspiring local organisations and collaborate on a number of community focused projects. As we wrap up 2022, we'd like to shine a light on some of their work. 👏✨

@hoafprojects an arts organisation that builds bridges between charities and artists, hosted 'Reclaimed' a ceramics workshop in connection with refugee and migrant charities, using clay sourced from the park! 🪴

Jane Knight and the @successfulmums_ team returned for two career advice coffee mornings. Successful Mums Career Academy helps local mums connect with training, flexible working opportunities or even develop their own businesses.

We've also been able to offer our spaces to local charities like @bromleywellyoungcarers who have hosted energetic and enriching experiences for their young people, including a wellness day and a drama workshop.

During the Summer months, we were elated to see so many familiar faces returning for our weekly food event Peckish. And closing out September, Lewisham-based @renegadeproductionsltd hosted a screening in the Dining Room. 'Our Park' is a short documentary film exploring community connection @ourpark_bpp and shot in part during the pandemic. 🎬🎞
