Night Sky Embroidery Workshop at the Mansion

Enjoy a glass of wine and learn to embroider a beautiful piece of needlework in the stunning surroundings of Beckenham Place Mansion. This beginner-friendly workshop is perfect for unwinding during the holiday season, whether you’re looking to pick up a new hobby or brush up on your stitching skills. We’ll begin with a welcome drink and a fun embroidery sampler to teach you the basics, from threading a needle to mastering key stitches.

In the second half of the session, you’ll put your new skills into practice by starting your night sky embroidery project. All materials are provided, including a 6-inch beechwood hoop, organic cotton fabric, DMC threads, needles, and an instruction booklet. Enjoy complimentary wine, snacks, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere with plenty of one-on-one support. By the end, you’ll have completed a stitch sampler and made a great start on your night sky design, which you can finish at your own pace at home.
