Introduction to Creative Writing (6 week course)
17th September 2021 @ 10:30 - 12:30
An event every week that begins at 10:30 on Friday, repeating until 15th October 2021
This is an introductory course aimed at anyone who wants to have a go at writing – whether you long to discover if you really do have that novel in you or just want to put pen to paper and see where it takes you.
It is a friendly, relaxed and fun course, designed to ease you in to the writing process and bring you confidence as a writer. Over the six weeks we will cover the basics of storytelling; generating ideas, finding your writing style, editing and developing your craft so that you end up with a clear writing goal to pursue.
Each session will run from 10.30 – 12.30 with a fifteen minute break and will include a mixture of ‘how to’ teaching from me (nothing too formal), exercises and discussions. We will use a combination of individual and group exercises to get the brains buzzing and the words flowing!
Cost: £ 159. Limited spaces available.
