Join the Circle – Hula Hooping for Beginners
8th September 2024 @ 14:00 - 15:30
£28.50
Planet Hoop is excited to welcome you to the first beginner-friendly hula hoop workshop at the Beckenham Place Mansion.
Hula hoops are provided and more information will be shared below in due course. The goal of this workshop is to guide you gently through your first steps in your hula hooping journey and will be followed by other beginner-friendly, monthly sessions.
Why hula hooping?
A low-impact form of movement, hooping with Planet Hoop is suitable for all age groups and is delivered in a thoughtful and accessible way. Hooping shifts the focus on something outside of yourself (the hoop), only to gently bring your attention inward through the connection your develop with the hula hoop.
This playful experience often has transformative impact on the hooper – ask any of our hoop-friends out there! You are free to enjoy hooping in your own way, and engage as much as you like in the social aspect of it.
What’s in store:
– guided waist hooping introduction
– 30-minute hoop jam and self-guided practice (great for questions and trouble-shooting)
– hula hoops of a wide range of sizes to ensure you get started FAST
– the opportunity to found the first community of hoopers in the area
