This is a welcoming life drawing class held at the Mansion every Wednesday evening. We draw directly from the living model and explore how the process of drawing can make us more creative. The class is tutored by Jonathan, who provides one to one support and demonstrates the traditional principles of drawing throughout the class. The class is great for beginners and also for people with lots of experience!
Paper and charcoal is provided and you can use as much as you like. You are also very welcome to bring your own materials if you prefer. There is a live model every week and we draw from a range of poses. The class is a place for relaxation, creativity and learning, and also a place to connect to the history of art!
The class is a drop in with no booking required. It is advised to arrive on time but it is not a problem if you are a bit late! The class costs £15 per session and a five-class pass is available for a 10% discount.
