Make Your Own Embroidered Christmas Elf Decoration

Learn to make your own unique Elf head tree decoration with Christine Leech. Ideal for those new to embroidery and stitches with more experience, in this 3 hour workshop you will learn a selection of embroidery stitches and how to construct a stuffed felt decoration.

The workshop will begin with you choosing the colour scheme of your elf and their accessories, then Christine will show you some simple embroidery stitches to customise your Elfie’s face and hairstyles to create a mini version of yourself (or that of a loved one) in elf form. You will also have time to decorate the hat with extra felt decorations or bead and sequin embellishments. Christine will then show you the best way to construct the ornament, how to add the hanging cord and how to stuff. Finally Christine will show you different ways you can adapt your Elfie’s to be used in garlands, as appliqués for jumpers, stockings and other Christmas accessories.

These elves are super addictive to make, once you’ve made one, you will be making them for the whole family!
