Sew a Market Tote Bag

Be proud of your summer shopper bag this year by making your own at our fabulous new class. Perhaps you’re looking for a new beach bag, or you just want to upgrade your tired shopping tote – then look no further as you can make your own using a patterned cotton fabric in this one day workshop for improvers.

We will be using a printed fabric and some wadding to make a unique padded style shopper tote bag– perfect for holding all of your key items this summer. Once you’ve made one in the class, you might decide to make another one at home, using fabric to match your outfit (we love a matchy matchy co-ord here at the sewing school!)

Skill Level:
Adventurous Beginner

What you learn/make:
Cutting out a pattern with fabric and wadding, (some pieces will be prepared in advance)
Sewing padded fabrics tips and guidelines to make this easy
Bagging out and boxed corners and technique that you can apply to lots of projects scale up or down to make different sizes.
