Sewing Machine Driving Licence
A starting point to learn to sew, a fun and really original one-off class for kids and teens.
On Saturday 20th July we’ll be part of the celebrations to relaunch Beckenham Place Park following the wonderful additions and improvements to this beautiful open space over the past two years. The market opens at noon this time, but as usual you’ll still find the market full of the best vintage traders around.
There’ll be a hand picked selection of 25+ top-quality dealers as always, in the Atrium, Drawing Room, Dining Room and outside. Expect to find mid-century decor, lighting, homeware and furnishings, vintage travel posters, prints, antique maps and etchings, brocante, clothing, accessories, jewellery, and lots more.
The resident artists will be opening their studios on the first floor where you can see their amazing work, some of which will be available to buy. Several of the artists’ studios on the the lower ground floor may also be open.
Don’t forget to check out Know How You Sewing School in their studio on the ground floor And not to be missed, is the fascinating Visitor Centre run by The Friends of Beckenham Place Park. Crammed with artefacts, maps, and documents, you can find out about the rich history of the Park.
There’s lots more happening on this special day. Here’s a taste of what will be going on :
