Teen Yoga a 6-week course with Claire Saunders

Teens today are under much more pressure than ever before, from academic worries to fitting in on social media. Practising yoga can provide valuable support at this time.
Yoga is more than a physical exercise, and whilst it can help teens deal with their growing bodies and the changes of adolescence, reduce injury and improve posture (those school bags!), its true gift is to help Teens to develop an invaluable sense of self, improve confidence and focus, and help them to deal with the minefield of social media. In a Teen Yoga class, we create a space of acceptance and community, where we practice poses, breath work and relaxation.
This summer, one of the most experienced teachers of adults and children, Claire, and her daughter Livi spent a week studying in depth how to bring yoga to teenagers, and they have been inspired to bring you this class together. Claire and Livi are dedicated to creating space for magic to happen, for students to express themselves in a place of acceptance and support.
